I have been a patient of Dr. Coffman’s for a number of years. The first visit sold me. I had been having right arm pain for several months and had seen an orthopedic surgeon and a chiropractor without relief. Dr. Coffman assessed my situation and the arm pain and made a diagnosis of radial-head dysfunction. She treated the cause of the chronic dysfunction with a gentle manipulation and energy work for the emotion involved. The pain resolved completely in that session and did not return! –Elizabeth A.

Dr. Maria Coffman and Dr. David Spencer enjoyed teaching for the Osteopathic Cranial Manipulation course presented at ATSU-KCOM in Kirksville. Dr. Coffman presented on “The Discipline of Oteopathy” and Dental Osteopathic treatment.

Happy Fall! There are a few updates to be aware of in the coming months:

– The office will be closed Monday, September 5th; Thursday, September 15th; Monday, September 26th; and Monday, October 17th.

– The office will be open Fridays September 30th and October 21st.

April is a busy and exciting month for the office! This month is Missouri Osteopathic Medicine Awareness Month, with this week (April 17th-23rd) being National Osteopathic Medicine Week!

Earlier this month, Dr. Maria Coffman, D.O., and Dr. David Spencer, D.O. traveled to Paris, France for, “Osteopathy in the Dental Arts,” taught by French osteopath, Maurice Bensoussan, MD, DO, FCA. Outside of France, they spent a few days in Heiden, Switzerland learning about Swiss Osteopathy from osteopaths Ralf and Meike Dornieden. From March 12th-March 15th, Dr. Maria Coffman and Dr. David Spencer traveled to Orlando, FL to assist teaching a visceral osteopathy course for the annual A.A.O. Conference
