Dr. Maria Coffman will assist with teaching at the 2015 Founder’s Day CME October 23 & 24:
“On December 12, 1919, a memorial service was held to honor the school’s
founder, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, who had passed away on December 12, 1917. The presidents of all the classes met with Dr. George Still to plan the event, a brief ceremony in the assembly hall and a oral wreath placed on the statue of A. T. Still. It was decided then that a similar ceremony would be held each year to honor the founder of the school, and that was the beginning of Founder’s Day.”

From April 16-19th, Dr. Coffman traveled to Alexandria, VA, where she participated in the Orthopedic Neurology course taught by Maurice Bensoussan, M.D., D.O. and his international staff. They studied dental occlusion (how the teeth fit together) and its relationship with the rest of the body from an osteopathic perspective. Dr. Coffman had exciting conversations and exchange of ideas with Vivianne Vallee-Cussac, D.M.D., standing directly in from of Dr. Coffman in the photo.
